Mandala, an immersive surround sound work, celebrating the soundscapes of various Australian national parks in the form of a guided sound bath meditation.

Inspired by the three dimensional Tibetan Buddhist mandalas (which represent a particular deity’s palace), Mandala seeks to cultivating respect and reverence for our continent’s other-than-human inhabitants.

Mandala was developed as part of Jesse’s 2023 artist residency in the The Cube, a new third-order ambisonic studio at Flinders University's Assemblage Creative Centre for the Arts.
