Jesse also continues to have an active involvement in musical theatre. He has numerous musical director credits, including Strictly Ballroom (SA Premiere, 2019) with Matt Byrne Media, Beauty and the Beast (2019) with Whyalla Players, Nice Work If You Can Get It (2021) with The Met, RENT (2022) with The Lot Theatre and A Transgender Woman On The Internet, Crying as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2024.

Onstage credits with Murray Bridge Players and Singers include including Horton in Seussical (2011), Zeke in High School Musical (2013), Tony in West Side Story, acting and directing in Harold Pinter’s Victoria Station (2014), Patrick in A Murder Is Announced (2015) and Rapunzel’s Prince in Into The Woods (2016). More recently, he originated the part of Wolfgang in Tamara Linke’s The Hipster, which premiered at Adelaide Fringe 2020.

Jesse is also the pianist for the comedy improvisation group Vicarious Cabaret.
